great value with minimal light penetration

These curtains are effective at blocking light, particularly in the darker hues. I purchased the black/dark grey shade and it functions exceptionally well. However, lighter colors may not entirely obstruct light. Simply bear in mind, they lack a backing.

Affordable linen blackout curtains for charm and savings

When it comes to window blinds, there are options the affluent and then there are affordable options like the H. Versailtex brand's linen blackout curtain that I am reviewing here. These crtains (52" X 72") are of good quality and very affordable. I ordered two sets to cover 176 inch window span and they are better than expected. Out of bag, they had a slight chemical smell which quickly disappeared. They are not as fancy as velvet curtains, but they are definitely satisfactory my needs and a great way to save money. Moreover, their beautiful linen fabric adds a touch of charm to my room

Surprisingly good insulation

Didn't expect much for heat retention but the curtains surprised me in a good way. While they don't entirely stop the cold air, they do a great job at keeping most of it away. They are definitely necessary for the winter season!

Good quality curtains

Purchased a pair of curtains that were specifically 84 inches size. Unfortunately, the curtains I received were only 72 inches in lngth. It was disappointing because I had already ironed and hung them up before realizing error. Sometimes, I can be lazy and returning them felt like too much work. Howevr, I want to remind you to check the length of curtains before ironing them. Trust me, it's not mistake you want to make. On the positive side, these curtains do have some positive aspects. First and foremost, they are great blocking out light. If you value a good night's sleep or enjoy dimly lit room during day, these curtains will definitely help. They darken the room effectively, providing a cozy and calm atmosphere. Additionally, I appreciate that these curtains are relatively easy to iron. While it may seem like tedious task, it doesn't take too long to make them look neat and wrinkle free. So, despite the length issue, I can confidently say that these curtains are still a good choice if you need blackout curtains
