This works great. When set on "automatic", the tank of water lasts about 24 hours. Filling the tank is easy, as it simply lifts off with no need to unlatch. It has a professional design suitable for placement in any room. I live in a dry apartment during the winter and it effectively increases the moisture in the whole apartment. I've been using it for about a month now and it has worked really well. I do find the internet capability unnecessary though, as the two push buttons for on/off and moisture control are perfectly fine. I'm even planning to buy another unit for my daughter who was really impressed!

The timer runs until all the water is gone, which I personally don't find very helpful. However, using a cup of vinegar is a recommendation to prevent pink mold buildup and keep the internal components clean from mold and dirt. Yes, the vinegar might have a cooked turnip odor but it's definitely better than risking expensive guitars drying out.

Out of all cool mist humidifiers I've tried, this one is my favorite. The only downside is that essential oils added to the water don't emit a strong scent in the mist. Also, it tends to cause some buildup in the system, so I decided to stop using oils altogther. However, it's very easy to use and I really enjoy the nighttime feature. This humidifier is perfect for our night time use. It has greatly reduced the dryness in the air. It's easy to use and clean and the water tank is much bigger than other humidifiers we've had previously. We also appreciate the choice of warm and cool mist

Before filling the tank with water, make sure to look for the piece of foam underneath the tank on base. I didn't do it at first and water started leaking like crazy! Removing the foam solved the problm. I also heard that putting scent oils in water instead of the designated place can cause leaks. Just read the directions and it'll be fine. My only wish is that power button and other two buttons had lights on them. Hard to see, especially at night. I added little stickers to make it easier
